Alli is the first FDA-approved weight loss/diet pill available without a prescription. It is a low dosed version of Xenical - a prescription drug used to successfully treat obesity. Alli has the same ingredient as Xenical, Orlistat, but in a much lower dosage, thus is available without a prescription.

I am not a believer in the 'take a pill to lose weight' approach. My experience and research shows that the only true fat loss solution that is healthy and sustainable (long-term) is changing your diet...which is very different than dieting, and changing your life-style. That said, many people have experienced great success using the alli weight loss drug and are very pleased with their results. It is a matter of choise.
